[ISLMA-Share] Lost materials and fines

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

Does anyone have any suggestions to try to get underclassmen to take care
of their fines and lost books?   Graduation works well with seniors…  We
are currently doing this-



Students with overdue books must return or renew them in order to be in the
media center from study hall.

Students with fines over $2 must pay them in order to be in the media
center from study hall.

Students with fines from a previous semester must pay them in order to be
in the media center from study hall.





Which is working well, but only gets study hall kids.



I would love to hear a good idea.
