Authors like Patricia Polacco, Eve Bunting, Chris Van Allsburg all have books that interest older readers. Jacqueline Woodson  has some great books too

Next week, a group of my high school book club students are going to be "Reading Role Models" for 4th and 5th grade students in our district. Time is limited, so they will each read one picture book in a classroom. I have several titles collected already, but do you have any great suggestions for picture books that would interest 4th & 5th grade students? Thanks for any suggestions you kindly send my way! :)
