We just started this year doing Genius Hour! It is so much fun. The first
session we actually did a Teacher Genius Hour Kick off where teachers chose
the topics and kids signed up with those teachers. I did Dart Painting
(filling balloons with paint and throwing darts at a canvas. Kids got to
take their works home). The kids LOVED it. Next session we are looking at
kids leading the sessions---we just are working out the logistics of it.
