[ISLMA-Share] WeVideo Question

Most of the students I've used WeVideo with have been recording audio or
video on their phones. We have the students upload that to their Google
Drive accounts, then import into WeVideo for editing.

That usually works fine, although one common complaint I get is that the
videos are quieter in WeVideo than when they play them back on their
phones. According to their support, that is due to Apple artificially
boosting the audio level in videos when played back on an iOS device;
WeVideo is actually playing the videos at their true audio levels.

You can boost the volume levels in WeVideo up to 200% per clip though.
Most of the time that is more than enough.

I try to steer the kids away from using the iOS app. We always run into
problems when students use it because they need to manually sync whatever
they've recorded in it before it will even be visible on the WeVideo
website.
