AASL has created new, FREE resources in 2017 focused upon School Librarians as Learning Leaders<http://www.ala.org/aasl/advocacy/tools/leaders>, including an amazing infographic entitled, School Librarians as Learning Leaders: An Administrator's Guide<http://www.ala.org/aasl/sites/ala.org.aasl/files/content/aaslissues/advocacy/AASL_LearningLeaders_Admin_V2_FINAL_R2.pdf>.  I think this infographic  would be an excellent starting point for library advocacy efforts; it includes updated research, videos, reports, and an annotated resource guide.  It is extremely user friendly!  The site also includes tips and tricks for how to speak with administrators, as well as a template for an advocacy action plan.  I highly recommend to all as a means for you to share your story and control the narrative regarding the impact of school librarians!
