[AISLE-Share] Attention grabbers- middle school

[Email list for the Association of Illinois School Library Educators]

I'm looking for books that I can do mini read alouds from to try to garner
interest.  My go to book is ALWAYS the introduction to *Cirque du Freak* by
Darren Shan, prologue of *Atremis Fowl* and* Hex Hall.*  Do you have any go
to book(s) you'd be willing to share?
