I have my Library divided down the middle. K -2 can only stay on one side of the Media center, 3- 5 can go anywhere. The problem with that is the Graphic Novels and Ripley's Believe or Not books are all on the other side. What do you do with the younger students and graphic novels? Although the Lexiles of these books is pretty low, I never had younger students interested in them before.
Thoughts? Do you separate some Graphic Novels -do you leave them for older than 2nd grade? Do you have them in a location where anyone can check them out?
