I am National Board Certified and renewed. It was a very rewarding process.
The original certification was more challenging than my MLS, I feel, but
perhaps because it was a one shot deal. There was a grant available. I
believe I had to front it and was reimbursed when I completed the process.
If you continue with the process I would urge you to find a mentor or
support team who can read your drafts and give you suggestions. I even had
a support person who came in and helped me pack my box with all the entries
on shipping day. Feel free to contact me off group if you have more
questions...cmesick at molineschools.org.
