[aisle] Weeding - sticker removal? Old books? Process?

My care with removal depends on where they're going.

If going to a classroom, I try to get stickers off (GooGone is my preferred
tool) and use a Sharpie or White-out to obliterate anything stamped on
pages.

If going on a cart of giveaways for our students, I get the barcodes and
'property of' information off/out, but don't worry about the spine labels.

Usually, after those two groups, what I have left goes in our recycling
bin...
