I am currently reading Hatchet to my fifth graders.  We use Padlet for
story predictions, reactions, and "what if" scenarios.  The kids love it
because they can read their classmates' responses and comment on them.
We've had some funny and amazing predictions.  There is a free version of
Padlet, but they let you make only three free ones.  If you delete one, you
can add another.  I got a subscription because I'm teaching seven fifth
grade classes.  I think it was $96.00/year.
