The 57 Bus by Dashka Slater is a work of nonfiction that centers around an
act of violence by a black adolescent perpetrated upon a white transgender
adolecscent.

American Boys by Jason Reynolds and Brendan Kiely. Two authors. Two
characters perspectives (one black adolescent and one white adolescent).
