[aisle] OCLC

Hi Denyse and other librarians,
OCLC membership at one time was required by the Illinois State Library to
receive the annual per capita grant; this is no longer true.

OCLC services (especially MARC records) can be very valuable. However, OCLC
membership rates are often widely variable, increase a lot each year, and
can be hard to justify.

One option that my high school library is going to try next year is Find
More Illinois <https://findmoreillinois.org/>, a statewide shared library
catalog hosted by RAILS, a regional library system. Shared MARC records.
Also much less $.

Sincerely
