I will actually be presenting a session on school and public library collaboration at AISLE this year. Shameless plug. 😊 We have a very good lending system set up between us and plan to share details.

Hi Dan,
Evanston Skokie D65 has always had a great relationship with Evanston and Skokie libraries.
We work differently with each, but appreciate the partnership.

Depending on the event/time I can talk or possibly find someone in the district to talk.

Best,
Tracy

Hi everyone,

The My Library Is… Advisory Team is doing a series of Ask Us Anything Zoom events on different topics related to library marketing/advocacy/outreach. One of the next topics that they are interested in is public/school library partnerships.

If you have a successful partnership in your community and might be interested in talking about it in a peer-to-peer learning event, please reach out to me (off-list, preferably). I’m looking for 2-3 speakers who are willing to talk for 10-15 minutes each and answer questions about how their partnership works. I’m really looking for someone to present the school side of a partnership, so if you have something to offer, please let me know.

This event would ideally take place in late September or early October. Thanks!

Dan
