[aisle] HS Library Student Assistants - activities/responsibilities

I love that idea of allowing students to choose some books we order Brooke!
We have 5-7 paid student workers each year and they do many of the same
things already mentioned - shelving, monitoring students swiping/passes at
the library entrance, processing/labeling new materials, and some
circulation during really busy periods.
My favorites are our Bridges students, because some of them actually go on
to work in the local public libraries professionally after graduation! I
love knowing that we are preparing them for their future. I highly
encourage everyone to partner with special ed. to find the particular
students who would be a good fit for library positions. We have found it
really rewarding.
