Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone has ever done an event like public libraries do where they bring in therapy dogs for kids to read to. If so, how many dogs did you have? How did you structure it? (i.e. how long could each child read with the dog...were they by themselves or were other kids or their families listening while they were reading...etc.) We are planning to do a family night in February where students can read to therapy dogs, do a craft, hear some dog-themed stories, and have a snack. Let me know if you have done something like this and have suggestions.
Thanks!
Jen Brown
