[aisle] Question for middle school librarians

I have an 8th grade section with a pink 8 sticker from demco on the bottom
of the spine. This helps me spot them. They are the HS Lincoln list books.
This shelf makes my 8th graders feel special since they're reading "HS
books." I rotate these out then I need the shelf space and typically only
purchase the Perma Bounds 7-12 from the list though there are some
exceptions. Other mature books that are purchased have the YA sticker on
the spine at the top. I give our "leave if you know your guardian doesn't
want you reading those just yet" or "...if it makes you uncomfortable..."
speech with those especially during orientation.
Have a great break!
