[aisle] activity for students

I found a scavenger hunt on TpT which worked well, if not exactly what you
want. Since we are 1:1, I had the students bring their chromebook and go
through the different call numbers and material types as I did it on
screen. I then set them loose on the Mrs. Lodges Library game. The
following week we did the scavenger hunt, where they had to follow
catalog numbers to find shelf signs to work out a riddle. There was a lot
of strolling around looking for the sign, but usually a leader in the group
who figured out the cataloging system, and it worked. This is the first
year I've done this, and I was pleased, and the classroom teachers were
pleased.

I did this for 3rd and 4th graders - I don't know what age group you're
targeting. I'd love to see the materials Sarah is using, as it would be a
good challenge midway through the year.
