[aisle] Age appropriate book question for middle school

I'm in an 8th grade center. Personally... because of all the recent
criticism over material in the library, I purchase only books that say 8th
grade in the review somewhere. Then, that can't be a piece of criticism. A
lot of reviews will say grades 7-9 or grades 8+. I know the summary
sounds tame, but I really doubt the publishers would advertise any
controversial content should it occur in the plot. I think you'd have to
read it to make a judgement.
