[aisle] Age appropriate book question for middle school

Hello!

I need some input, advice, thoughts, etc. please. :) When you order books
for middle school, specifically 8th grade, do you order books that are a
9th - 12th grade interest level? Like this book for example, it doesn't
sound inappropriate or anything. I'm just looking for what others do. Since
it says 9th - 12th and it's about high school students would you order it
for 8th graders? Thanks for your help!

Summary: Seven high school students are stranded at their New England high
school during a week-long blizzard that shuts down the power and heat,
freezes the pipes, and leaves them wondering if they will survive.
