[aisle] To lend or not to lend (headphones)

We lend headphones out at my middle school library, though we also have
them as a school supply listed.  Teachers can check out a bunch and
students can check out individually.  In order to dissuade students from
relying on ours or becoming habitual borrowers (since it takes time to
clean and process) I bought the largest, most  hideous ones Demco offered
and spray painted them bright orange.  (Of course, some kids like them!)
They are easy to find if lost, and it has worked fairly well.
