The 2022 AISLE Conference welcomes Illinois Heartland Library System as a Gold
Level Sponsor! IHLS is sponsoring the preconference afternoon
beverage/snack break and the Friday afternoon snack break in the Exhibit
Hall.

Illinois Heartland Library System (IHLS) is a state agency that helps 520+
member libraries deliver exceptional service to their communities. As one
of the three library systems in Illinois—and one of two multi-type library
systems—we are a support partner for public, school, academic, and special
libraries and the library staff and trustees that work for them. IHLS
facilitates access to shared resources, advocates for libraries, promotes
innovation, and develops community partnerships!

Our service area includes southern and parts of central Illinois. Services
include:

-- Support of resource sharing through interlibrary loan delivery service
and support of the SHARE automation consortium

-- Advocating for libraries and curating tools for libraries to advocate
for themselves

-- Fostering professional connections through networking opportunities

-- Coordinating member discounts and group purchases

-- Promoting innovation and the development of community partnerships

-- Developing and sharing continuing education opportunities, including our
annual IHLS Member Day, a free day of continuing education for IHLS
libraries

-- Facilitating access to statewide programs, including grant opportunities

-- Collection cataloging support through the Cataloging Maintenance Center
and SHARE
