[aisle] Teen with challenging life book

Hi!

I had a 7th grade boy who is very much a nonreader ask me for a book today!
He was very specific... he wants a book that has a teen (I am assuming male
main character is a must for him) that has had or currently has a
challenging life. I gave him All American Boys, but I would love to have
recommendations for a book that will really grab his interest.
