[aisle] Comic Books?

For displays, I use an old magazine rack and some old spinners racks(see attached photo).

How often are comic books published varies by the title. On average, it is monthly.

I am wondering how often issues are released and how do you display them in your library?

Which titles are most popular? This year our most popular titles were: Amazing Spiderman, Avengers, Batman, Iron Man and X-men. I had our students vote for comics to add for next year and these were the top 3 I'm adding: Deadpool, Harley Quinn, and Miles Morales: Spiderman.

Do you check them out or are they for in-library use only? Students can check out up to 2 comics at a time (in addition to their library books), and return time is 3 days for the comics.

How do you process them to help keep them from falling apart?
