[ISLMA-Share] Authority of District Librarian

In our district, I have not played a role in the hiring of library
assistants. However, my building principals (and superintendent), tell the
aides they are to do "whatever Susan tells you to do." I think this is a
trust that has built up over several years. If I have a problem with any of
the aides, I go to the building principal and/or handle the situation
myself.

I do not have an administrative degree, but an MLS with many years of
experience. Hope this helps.
