[ISLMA-Share] Job description - question for traveling librarians

Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association islma at list.railslibraries.info

I'm also a District Librarian, and I travel between six buildings: two K-2,
two 3-5, and two 6-8. I get a small travel stipend twice a year.

My schedule is flexible. If possible, I go to each school every sixth
school day to maximize the students and teachers I interact with. However
- that being said, we've had ginormous things going on at my K-2 and 3-5
buildings this year, so I've spent very little time at my 6-8 schools
recently. I keep my Google calendar current so that I can always be
tracked down.

If you have more questions, please feel free to email me off-list!

Susie Narkis
District Librarian, Berkeley School District 87
