[aisle] K-5 How do you include staff in library curriculum/lesson planning

I've look at the Aligned Curriculum docs that our district produced, then I
approach teachers, "I see you're doing an animal unit in April, would it be
helpful if I showed the students how to access the Animals Comparisons
feature in World Book?" (or whatever skill or book you think would be
useful...
Another thing I've done is invited myself to grade-level meetings. "If I
bring chocolate can I sit in on your next grade-level meeting?  I'm just
trying to get a feel for what's happening academically in 3rd grade."
And a third strategy I've used is to pull out an "all-call" email: "I'm
thinking about my library curriculum for 4th quarter...are there books or
skills you'd like to see your class cover while they're in library class?
Need some ideas?  Here are some potential topics...(list ideas to prime the
pump), but I'm open to anything! Let me know!"

I think the key is going to THEM and perhaps having ideas to get them
thinking about how you can assist or collaborate.  Good luck!
